State of New Jersey v. A.A. (Passaic County, November 2017): ALL FELONIES DISMISSED

Client charged with 2nd Degree Aggravated Assault and Weapons Possession arising out of an altercation in a nightclub that caused severe facial injuries. After rejecting multiple State Prison offers and filing a Motion to Dismiss the Indictment, client plead guilty to a disorderly persons offense in exchange for the dismissal of all felonies.

State of New Jersey v. M.M. (Essex County, October 2017): NOT GUILTY - ACQUITTED AT JURY TRIAL

Client charged with Murder, Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, and Conspiracy. After a four-week jury trial, client was found not guilty of all counts for a robbery and shooting death that occurred in Newark, New Jersey.

State of New Jersey v. N.C. (Hudson County, October 2017): ALL FELONIES DISMISSED

Client charged with Burglary and Trespass on a commercial property in Hoboken, New Jersey. After significant discussions, the Prosecutor’s Office downgraded the felony charges and remanded said charges to the municipal court. The client subsequently plead to a non-criminal municipal ordinance, receiving a $250 fine.

State of New Jersey v. F.S (Essex County, October 2017): DISMISSED

Client charged with Terroristic Threats, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. The Prosecutor’s Office downgraded and remanded the charges after the presentation of exculpatory evidence. The charges were subsequently dismissed in the municipal court.

Investigation of P.S. (Hudson County, October 2017): NO CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED

Client accused of committing an act of Criminal Sexual Contact. Client advised not to provide a statement to law enforcement. Rather, a package of exculpatory text messages and emails was provided to the investigating officer, the sergeant, and subsequently, the on-call prosecutor. All declined to file charges and the matter was closed out.

State of New Jersey v. L.D. (Essex County, September 2017): DISMISSED

Client charged with Unlawful Possession of Handgun, Aggravated Assault, and Terroristic Threats. The Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the case after the defense provided exculpatory information prior to the State’s presentation to the Grand Jury.

State of New Jersey v. F.S (Essex County, October 2017): DISMISSED

Client charged with 2nd Degree Aggravated Assault Terroristic Threats, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. The Prosecutor’s Office administrative dismissed the matter after the presentation of exculpatory evidence.

State of New Jersey v. G.M. (Hudson County, August 2017): DISMISSED

Client charged with Aggravated Assault by Automobile arising out of a motor vehicle accident that caused bodily injury to the passenger. After numerous conferences and meetings, the Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the criminal charge.

State of New Jersey v. J.C. (Hudson County, June 2017): ALL FELONIES DISMISSED

Client charged with Drug Possession and Distribution Felonies subject to mandatory State Prison Sentencing. After producing exculpatory evidence, the State dismissed all felonies in exchange for a disorderly conduct plea and a fine of only $125.

State of New Jersey v. T.S. (Union County, February 2017): NOT GUILTY - ACQUITTED AT JURY TRIAL

Client charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Conspiracy. After a seven- week jury trial, client was found not guilty of all counts for a homicide that occurred in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

State of New Jersey v. L.D. (Essex County, September 2016): DISMISSED

Client charged with Murder and Conspiracy arising out of a shooting death in Newark, New Jersey. The Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the case after the defense filed a Chen Motion challenging the eyewitness’ identification, agreeing that the identification was no longer reliable.

State of New Jersey v. O.M. (Hudson County, May 2016): DISMISSED

Client charged with Sexual Assault for the alleged forcible rape of a dinner date. The Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the charge prior to presentment to the Grand Jury when exculpatory text messages were located by the defense and translated from Spanish to English.
